ROBERT KHATCHATRIAN was born on 1964 in Armenia. He was a very sporty fellow but most of all he loved football and could play it for hours. Attending University of ARMENIAN STATE INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE he began to play football professionally. When Robert Khatchatrian blew out his knee it looked to be the sad end of his career but he didn’t stop it and played more and more. After graduating he became a trainer of a small group of boys. He could talk with them about football for hours. His students loved and respected him as their own father. Robert Khatchatrian’s victories made him more responsible for his trainings. He was noted for his quickness, strength, and exceptional ability to change directions while running at top speed and for the quality of his crossing and ability to hit free-kicks and corners. Now he can’t remember how many goals he has but in each of it he put his life and energy. Now his son continues his father’s work and is trying to be such a good footballer as his father was. |
